Cancellation Policy

  • Booking confirmation will be immediately sent after registration, and an invoice will be sent after payment. Payment is required in advance of the conference.
  • Cancellation of registration must be done in written notice.
  • We are happy to accept a substitute attendee without additional cost until 2 weeks before the conference.  
  • Refunds:
    Participants who cancel registration before 1 May 2026 are entitled to a full refund minus 10% of the processing charges (i.e., 90% of payment).  
    Participants who cancel registration before 1 June 2026 are entitled to a 50% refund. 
    The full registration fee is due in case of cancellations made after 1 June 2026 or in case of non-attendance.  
  • Reimbursements will be made after the congress. 

Insurance and Liability 
In registering for the Biophysics Austria Conference 2026, you agree that neither the organizing committee nor the congress secretariat accept any liability. Participants are requested to make their own arrangements with respect to health and travel insurance. 

Note 
The organizers do not accept liability for any loss of or damage to the personal effects of delegates attending the event. The organizers reserve the right to cancel, defer, or modify the event proceedings without prior notice. The Biophysics Austria Conference 2026 organizing committee cannot be held responsible for any changes in the program or any risks due to circumstances beyond their control as well as failures caused by bad weather conditions, natural disasters, or disease outbreak and regulations (pandemia). The organizers do further not accept liability for any inconvenience or expenses resulting from regulations and actions of third-party entities. The Biophysics Austria Conference 2026 organizers did not authorize any third-party entity to contact exhibitors, attendees, or participants regarding their registration nor to distribute or sell attendees lists.
